Post Masks

Yes, the eye glasses thing is very real .

Cotton seems to be the best thing to use, I'm asking and looking but so far no luck .

If you have some Rainx in your garage, rubbing a few drops on your glasses helps with the fogging problem.

Thumbs up Fogging Lenses

Thank you .

I only use glass lenses in my eyeglasses, I know everyone else thinks the polycarbonite (SP?) are harder but they're not ~ they get scratched to opaque in a month, BT, DT, never again .

Post Eye Glasses

When you wear glasses and a mask, the lenses often fog up from the blowby of your warm & moist breath .

Went to a few stores yesterday-hardly anyone wearing a mask. I think people are becoming lax. Loads of tourists coming back even though there's only 1 beach open. Nearest town with open hotels is 25mi so they must be staying there. I guess with school out people are traveling anyway.
Thanks for the Rain x idea-I will try it.

I am in Michigan City Indiana today at my rental home. Yesterday was in a store which is like Tractor Supply. Not too many customers and pretty much all wearing masks of some sort. A plastic shield like at a salad bar at the check out to keep the check out lady and I from breathing each other's spittle.

There is a local Mayor's order outlawing any vacation rentals until May 5. They are pretty skittish here about folks coming from Chicago due to it being a virus hot spot.

90 % of the vacation rental income comes in July and August, so those not too hurt by the shut down hopefully will be able to come then.

My gf is makes wedding dresses and custom gowns for a living. She has two nieces who are ER doctors in the area.
They gave her a design for washable reusable pleated surgical masks that cover the whole front of your face and look pretty good.

Originally she donated 200 masks to the cops and FD. Now everyone in town wants her masks, she is getting about two orders per week of 150-200 at a time.

I have become her production control manager, buying and ordering all her materials in addition to my day job.

And she was worried about making ends meet!

I though this would be a good time for her to rest up from repetitive motion injuries that plague her when she makes a wedding dress from scratch.
Apparently it's different motions now, so no harm, no foul and people get masks, so it's all good.

? Why ? .

" Shame on you. " .

I had to go to the store yesterday, only a few not wearing masks, it was a Ghetto store so mayhap that's why, who knows .

Here in the L.A. Metro area most seem to be wearing macks, even when closed up in their cars driving....

I too am concerned folks might relax and forget .

I had a bandanna around my mouth and nose. I broke no laws unless you count speeding.

Post Masks

I had to go back to another store to - day, most were wearing masks .

Some are very ignorant and simply don't know enough to understand the need .

I have a box of blue shoe covers-the kind you wear at a open house, etc. I wonder if I could make a mask out of them?
