Thanks Engat!

I’m considering getting a 2022 E 350. however, I’ve only had my 2019 C300 for a couple of years and have no knowledge of maintenance costs typically for these new cars let alone an E Class.

I plan on getting an extended warranty but after reading the warranty I'm not sure what it will pay and won’t. After the warranty expires what typically goes out on them and are the costs? Can the average (or slightly below average) DIY’er do some of the repairs?

In my opinion E class cars are some of the best with the main thing being proper, routine maintenance. Not knowing where you live, shop cost, and mileage you drive I can't predict your cost but if you budget $100/month you should be fine. Just don't try to save money by not doing correct and proper service.

This is only in reference to the mechanical side of things, engine, tranny and drivetrain. Too early to tell on items like navigation screen and the bs electronic entertainment stuff. Now where did I put my paper map? 20 years from now no one will be able to use a paper map to figure out where to go.

Thanks!

I’ve gotten pretty good offer for my ‘19 C300 and was considering getting one. I like my C but there are some things I don’t like. Hopefully it’s a bullet proof car as it’s my first expensive car (bought new).
