OK, I just finished having a few celebratory beers...The first single from our upcoming 2nd album was officially released to radio today....So maybe some of you will hear our song on your local rock radio station soon.

It will be a few days before we know exactly how many stations, and where, have added it to thier playlists, but I know of a few that started last week:

FYI:

Barnes and Noble's music section has an extremely good "pre-listening" setup, and you'll find 1 minute samples of every single track on 1000 Yard Stare. (and about 10 million other albums).

BTW, Mike, have you played in the Pacific NW before? (Seattle, Portland, etc).

Yes, we have. We played NXNW in Portland, and we played Portland with Queensryche a couple of years ago...also played somewhere in Seattle, I forget the venue.

I just found out that we're flying into Seattle on April 5th (my birthday

) for a radio station-sponsored festival show...I'll give you the details when I have them. It would be great to see you there.

Hey, guys! Sorry I've been MIA for a while...we're on the road with Seether and Trapt, and the schedule has been so busy that I've not been able to be online much until today. We're enjoying a quiet day off in Allentown, PA. The shows are going great....having a blast, meeting lots of people.

Hey, Peyton...I wish I had known you were there, bro...We were hanging out with the radio station folks, drinking and sampling chili all day long!

It made for a rather unpleasant ride after the show, however! hahaha...

Hi, el Prez! Yes, we'll see you at Music Midtown...We haven't played that festival in a couple of years...and never on the 96 Rock stage, so that will be a blast!

Thanks again for all the interest, fellas...and I still hope to meet more of you and your cars on the road!

Blue In The Face arrived today! I ordered it a few days ago on Amazon and as soon as I got it I loaded it up.. Sounds great on the first listen through

I'll save more comments until I've listened to it through some more :p

Although right now, I'm thinking.. I love that intro riff on 11.59..

We're still on tour, travelling like crazy. It's been going great.

Some of you may have heard our song during the opening montage of some of the ESPN major league baseball games coverage as well. They'll be using it for some more games--labor day, memorial day, 4th of July, and some other games, and promo spots. Sometime over the next week or so, our website will be new and improved, and it will include a video stream of the version they used on opening day of the season. www.doubledrive.com

Hey, Kyle! Thanks! Glad you dig it. We were in Seattle a couple of months ago, playing at the Experience Music Project. We don't have any NW dates on the books at the moment, but I'm sure there will be at some point this summer. We may also do some Canadian dates with our labelmates, Theory of a Deadman...but that's not for sure yet. Here's what we have now:
