While on the subject of colleges..
While one more year until college and I was discussing with guidance counselor. I plan to get a masters in pharmacy, and maybe a PHD. She recommended a couple of schools: her Alma Mater, Duquane(sp.?) in Ohio I believe, Purdue University in Indiana, and Northeastern which is pretty expensive, but close to home. Know any other good pharmacy schools?

SUNY Buffalo is supposed to be one of the best for Pharmacy and Dentistry. Bring your mittens...

I think the university you're meaning is the University of Duquesne and that I believe is in Pittsburgh, PA(I drove by it on my way to a NCAA tourny game 2 years ago).
Keep in mind that out of state tuition is a lot... in some cases more than double of what a person would pay if they're a resident in the state the university is at. If you're interested in Pharmacy, I would look up a list of top pharmacy schools. I believe Time magazine comes out with college edition magazines that talks about top schools. I remember reading up on these things when I was applying to the schools. Your other option is to look at possible school's website and see what they offer, what they require, etc. e.g. Ohio State's pharmacy page ( http://www.pharmacy.ohio-state.edu/ ) Another thing to consider is the benefits of either going to a State or Private school. |

It's US New and World Report that has the college issues. The graduate schools one just came out (a few weeks ago). You'll have to scrounge around for the undergraduate one. That came out several months ago (I think).
