Median Age

What is the median age in your neighborhood?

By the way, what's the median age in the USA?

Probably mostly 30-somethings in my neighbor hood. But we have a wide cross section of ages and incomes here. Young coulpes/families just getting started and this is all they can afford(that's how we got here), then we have older ones that came here years ago when this area was where you moved to "get away from it all".

According to local real estate demographic figures, the median age in my zipcode is 37.1. Sounds about right, I'm 36.4.

When I'm in the city, I'd say the average age in my building is about 50-60.

Back at home, it's probably more like 40.

DO you want the median age or the mean age? Median is the middle age, mean is the average age. I'll assume you are looking for mean age. If so, at home it is probably 38, at school, it is about 20. I have had way too many stats classes, sorry...
