I like driving both. I use the W126 560SEL for most daily driving until it's snow that I would swtich to the W140 coupe more due to its' traction control and heavier with snow tires get better traction. The W140 is noticably quieter due to the thick double panel windows and keep the heat out better in the summer and the rest button keeps the heat in during the winter. I would say I spit the time 65/35 with both cars.

wow so many things added to the car.......I hate when companies do this to later years in production of a model....its like the one I have is such a junk to them that they have to improve it that much.

I know someone that has a 89 300SE....mint mint condition and you can notice an improvement over a 83 even though mine is mint for its year.

I went last night again to show another freind the 140 at the used car dealer cause he always hears me talking about it but never sat in one. There was 4 of them there and one was a 99 S500 with AMG monoblocks....sweet! We tried the stereo also.....not too bad but I have more clarity in the upgraded system in the 126 than that one. The bass that I acheived in my 126 is probably equal to that Bose system.

Still.......im addicted.
