Yep, and were completely ignored by everybody. Ignored by our left who saw Emma &tc as out of line and ignored by our right because they were genuine commies and indistinguishable (by the right) from totalitarians.

Our "moderate left" continued sucking-up to the Soviets for another 20 years, ignoring the gulag, Trotsky's assassination, mass starvations, etc. The NY Times, that bastion of psuedo-liberality, won Pulitzers for reporting damn lies from the Soviets, as truth. ...oh, well that explains the cover story in yesterday's paper about Michael Jackson's 3 legged alien love child. Two paragraphs into the article, it mentioned that the RNC had been funneling money through MJ's Neverland Ranch in an effort to launder money and finance the impending alien invasion.
