With all this ranting and screaming Socialism and anti-Americanism you guys are really missing the good stuff you could be hitting me with. If I were you all, I'd be making my life miserable with Mr. Wilson's situation. Do I have to actually do this for you?

WGAS?
Old, dead news. 90% of the people have decided how they'll vote and the other 10% haven't a cluew who Wilson is, and will make their choice based on horoscopes or moods or morning headlines or Aunt Mazies lumbago. In truth, those may be as good sources for decisions as any that we brilliant followers of every nuance use. Nobody with a lick of sense is going to suddenly awaken, slap his forehead and say, "Of course, what a dolt I was! I'm now going to vote for that other dingleberry instead of my cretin." Botnst |

I don't agree. This election will be decided by 5% of the electorate who is curently undecided. Forums like this are extremely important in a race like that. And they call me negative!
Ultimately, I'm being effective in this medium. People react to what I post, and are forced to defend what they think. It's something we need more of, not less. It's great seeing someone go off on a rant like that. He exposes some pretty shallow thinking. Ultimatly its just a collection of Limbaugh bites. People are starting to see a lot of this for what it is- not very well thought out stuff. Oh, and the Clinton stuff scores real high on the WGAS meter, a lot higher than anything I post. Hmm... you support people responding then call them shallow for doing it? Classy!

I am not "supporting" him one bit. I am simply saying that I have evoked something in him that caused him to passionately defend what he believes, which is fine with me, as that is exactly what I am doing. Nothing in that says I have given up any right to polk as many holes in his arguments as I can. He came to me, I didn't come to him. Whatever he gets from me is something he has asked for. I find it a shallow rant. I also didn't come here to be "classy" I came here to discuss politics, which ain't beanbag.

"Why can't we be friends, why can't we be friends" good song. Seriously y'all. The flame wars are getting REALLY old. It is not the liberals who are a problem nor the conservatives. It's the extremists. I'm tired of all of my friends and coworkers turning from normal people into crazed political fiends. So why don't you guys all back down a little bit and save yourselves from an aneurism. Breath deeply and say "woooosaaah" We should all talk about cars and stuff for a change.....
Peace Scott
