A good quality synthetic does not break down like a dino based oil. Thats why people can go thousands and thousands of miles on the same oil. This is well documented and backed up with oil analysis....

Drivers side power seat ? in a 84 300SD

The seat will only work in the bottom switch. Seat forward,back etc. The reclinining switch does not work. Is this an easy fix? It also has a 1 and 2 button next to the switches. What are these for?

Can you remove all of the glow plugs without anything in the way. Looks like the oil filter housing may be in the way of one.

stumling and sometimes dies when 300 SD starts

When I start my 84 300SD in the morning and its cold the motor runs very rough and sometimes dies. Is this a glow plug problem? Motor runs fine once it warms up.
