Front Axle Boot - 300E 4-Matic

The dealer shop told me I needed my left front axle boot replaced (at a cost of almost $500) on my 1992 300E 4-Matic.

Is this a reasonable price? What's the downside if I don't have it replaced?...

Coolant Change

I now have the green coolant in my 1992 300e. I'd like to flush it out and re-fill with the M-B coolant.

I ordered a new mirror. It cost $168.99 from: http://www.alloemautoparts.com

Installation was easy. The mirror is black, which worked for me. Not sure if it comes in other colors.

The "joystick" on my left-hand mirror (1992 300E) snapped apart (at the ball joint). It appears that the piece itself cannot be replaced because it is held in by a rivet-style washer inside the works...
