While in there checked out the GP's. Looks like # 1 is open. GP-2 to 6 all measured a slight resistance. (digital meter)

OK, just yesterday, turned the key on my SDL and no glow plug light.

I know, I know,.....check the plugs, check the relay, check the fuse. Well.... all the plugs were changed approx 6500 miles...

5500 RPM's to get into gear SDL

Really weird. All of a sudden trans goes wacky. The engine revs to 5500 before it will go into Drive. Bunch of black smoke out the back (naturally) then a big clunk into gear. Then it will shift...

The first thing to do is, find the blower fuse and pull it out and throw it away. Then replace it. You cannot tell if one of those POS fuses is good or bad by just looking...
