I am considering the purchase of a '01 E430. 24k miles. Used car dealer asking $32k. Carfax is clean. I will get PPI and Dealer service history. Looks, drives, feels new. A few cosmetic scratches.

What should I be aware of and looking for? How will mileage compare to the E320? Any owners care to comment?

Its a good year and has low miles. About all to look at is the cosmetics. The mileage will probably be a mile or two different highway and maybe double that in the city. I had a 99 E430 for a while and even though I seldom check mileage I think I did get around twenty on one extended trip, probably above 80.
