Difficult to change rear diff mounts 87 300E?

I was underneath my 300E and noted the rear differential mounts were worn? How hard is it to replace them? They only cost about $13 each.

bushings

mercedes gives a labor time of 2.0 hours. i have done several we have the special tools for removing and installing the bushings. but you can use an air hammer to remove them, just be careful not to damage the subframe. unless you are really handy and have a vehicle lift, i would encourage you to take it to a mercedes repair shop.

Thanks for the advice. I have a tech session at the dealership in 2 months. I will ask them if they will help me. They should have the tools.

I've been advised that this isn't really a job you want to tackle while lying on the floor with the diff hanging, and I believe it.

I may try it in a pit instead.
