Symptoms of a bad throttle body actuator?

My 1993 400e is having some problems, mostly around idle. To make a long story short, after spraying nitrous on it yesterday, it started messing up. At first i thought it was the transmission. Transmission seemed fine. The motor was fine as it sounded normal when i revved it up. I go out to work on it this morning and i get it idleing normally right at 700 rpms after adjusting the throttle cable. I take it for a test drive, and it drives ok, but when i let off the gas it seems to stay really high, around 1,100 rpms. It shoudl be dropping back down to 700 when im off the gas completely. Anyways, I try to get on it. Shifts really early at full throttle (about 5300 rpms) and its not picking up like it usually does. Again when i let of the gas after getting on it it then idles around 1600 rpms. It even went up to 1800-1900 rpms. However, it can all be solved by popping the hood, and simply pushing the throttle cable thing back. It then idles where i had it set before. It seems like not only is the throttle body sticking open but it just doesnt drive like it did before. Ill try pullin it off this week and cleaning it. But does this sound like a bad throttle body actuator?
