Whats a 1995 S600 sedan worth?

I cant believe a 95 s600 worth under 25k. I have one I am considering selling, and would expect to get around $30k. NADA supports these #is, KBB doen not even come close. Its a mint condition all black, euro version car, with newer s class wheels, & with 70k on the clock..............
Any input appreciated?

No more V12 !! But I can assure that you will not get $30k for a 9 year old s600, unfortunately 600s incurr some of the worst depreciation of all Benzs. You would be lucky to get 20k for the car, or at least where I live. Euro version has around 414 horsepower, right??

I do believe the HP is increased.... I am not sure how much. I baby it.

If it is really only worth 20k.... Its going to be the daily driver. I have many other cars, and I was going to buy a new truck and use the w126 as the daily driver. Its a shame to use such a beautiful S600 as if it were an Accord.
If anyone is looking for an exceptional example of the V-12 let me know. Ken

. . . great car.

KBB says: $27K for Retail price; $23K for Private Party sale: $18K for Trade-in value.

See what high gas prices will do??? Hardly can't give them away.

New $137,000
Now less than $30,000 ...makes me sick. I need to drive this thing till 500,000 miles to get my moneys worth out of it.
Do people just not realize what these things are?

Driving it a lot of miles may not be a way to get your money out - but a receipe for pouring more in - with parts and service prices going up they way they are. The problem is that there isn't anyone out there to buy these things. But I think it's a combination of things - the used car market is bad, the used Mercedes market is even worse, and the 140 market is a particularly weak segment of the Mercedes market. People are wising up to the service costs, or at least the risk of service costs, of these cars. Some people have had good luck, but you'll notice that most of them don't put on many miles. Here in Phoenix I wouldn't want to try to sell a 95 S600 for $15k. It's brutal out there.

I think another problem is that people are scared to death to own an S600.

There are simply too many horror stories about the cost to maintain and repair the V12, on top of all the W140 issues.

I agree 99.99%. My friend just bought a 2002 S600 silver/black this week for $67,500.00 CAD = $54,983.72 USD

Forgot to mention that it has an \\\AMG Sport Pack and list was $186,000 CAD.

Their is a mint 1995 S600 in the paper with 54k miles on it. They are asking $24k and it has been in the paper for 3 weeks. I would think $22k or $23k is a good price. S600's are expensive to own and suck gas, also the used car market weak now.

I'd buy one is a second if I could afford one though.
