Glue for 87 190E Plastic Dash?

I'm working on Mom's '87190E over the holidays. I live two states away so don't have much time. Above the center dash air vents are three rocker switches, two I assume for airflow, the third for the antenna. Last week she pushed the middle switch through the black dashpanel plastic, which has one horizontal crack to the left of the center switch hole, and two to the right, with a small section now loose but complete. I removed the rightmost switch, then hooked my finger through its hole to push the center switch back out. My question is what glue (if any) will reliably hold the dashpanel cracks together, so the switch doesn't push through again. In my experience, most glues and epoxies work poorly on most interior plastics. Does anyone know what might work with MB plastics in this case? Thanks!!
