parking brake adjustment w116

where do you adjust the parking bracke cable on a 1980 300sd?

I know about the rear rotor adjustments.... is there any other?

and on the rear rotors does turning the adjuster down tighten or loosen and does it differ from left side to right side?

Thanks!

The rear adjusters have the same screw, so one works in and one works out, I can never remember which one is what.

There is a cable adjustment under the car, nut on a threaded rod were the single cable from the front hooks to the two cables from the rear. Do not adjust this nut until you have the shoes adjusted properly in the rear (out till they drag after a couple aplications of the brake, then back off two or three clicks). Shoes should contact drum in two or three clicks on the pedal, tight enough to make it difficult or impossible to turn by hand, and when the pedal is all the way up, there should be no drag.
