I think you only need to pull up the carpet in the center console to reveal 1 philips head that holds the wood panel in place. Then lift the panel up and over the gear shifter, you may have to move the gearshift to get it off.
BE VERY CAREFULL WITH THE WOOD and DO NOT FORCE IT.
It is common for this wood to crack from the stress on being removed.
