There are a couple ways to freshen up the cargo nets. First, you can adjust the sagging nets by taking up slack on the formerly elastic cord a the top of the net. Go to a dry goods store (sewing supplies) and buy a pair of plastic toggles that are used at the bottom of windbreaker jackets or on drawstring bags. Run a loop of the cord through the toggle and then you can loosen and tighten it as needed.

The second way is to replace the netting and frame with either a OEM part or a good one from a breaker yard. It's removed by sliding off the seat back, which is held in place by two screws at the bottom edge of the seatback.

Remove the back pannel of the seat, - there are 2 screws on the bottom of it - then there are rubber (seals?) that run the length of the pannel's sides (attached to the leather on the side of the seat). Work these seals off of the pannel from the bottom to the top by pulling out (to the back) and out (to the side) - and remove pannel...
When you are inside the back pannel you can shore up a sagging cargo net by tieing the top strand in a knot about one inch over on one side and cutting off the excess.

The top cord (elastic) is the usual one that sags and can be replaced by some simple "shock cord" (~1/4"). I got mine online somewhere, but camping, outfitters, maybe fabric stores should have it. I've even seen it in OSH Hardware stores.

Okay, to get this right....

I....

1. remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the back of the seat, (upside down)

2. Pull on the panel, (toward the back of the car)

And it should come out?

Thanks people!

1.5. You must remove the rubber strips-fittings-trim...that connect the leather upholstery on the sides of the seats to the back panel...by
A. Start at the bottom of the back panel.
B. Pull the rubber out and away from the back panel and progress toward the top of the seat near the headrest until the back panel is no longer connected to the upholstery on the side of the seat.
Note: The rubber should be difficult to start, as it has probably never been removed so you will have to use some force.
Note: Be careful not to tear the leather.
Note: The rubber fitting is permanently affixed to the end of the leather upholstery where it joins to the back panel.
(Once the bottom corner is unseated the rest will become apparent.)

As to #2 the panel is now only inserted into the top of the seat near the headrest... just pull it down and it comes off

Adjustment to the top strand of the net is done on the inside of of the back panel.
Edit: hopefully you can fix your horseshoe shapped bracket from in there as well.
