Up and down shifts clunks if transmission related is usually caused by high working pressure, no or low vacuum to the modulator, a broken or missing vacuum line, or a defective vacuum modulator. A defective valve body can also be the cause. Always check the fluid level first.
Other possibilities are: rear control arm bushings, rear differential mounts, flex disc, drive shaft center support mount and u joints. Good luck and welcome. |
