'01 S430 spark plug change interval and recomendation?

I pulled one plug on my 73,000 mile car and it shows just a little wear. Are these ment to go 100K or just 60K? The car runs fine and the plug looks as if it will make it to 100K so can I just leave it be? If not, what is a good replacement. Boschusa.com lists the factory replacement as F8DPP332 and AutoZone sells them for $9 each (and the car takes 16 plugs) or over $150 with tax. But oddly enough, they also list their Platinum2 and Platinum+4 at $4 and $6! Why is the regular platinum plug so much more than the supposedly better P2 and P4 plugs?

Maximun life is 100K but after 4-5 years many times the plugs are very difficult to remove. IF they look worn then they should be replaced! Excessive plug gap puts strain on the ignition wires & coils. WE see lots of them bad at the 100K extended plug changes.

The Bosch plus2 & 4 plugs AREN'T 100K rated! & they won't last that long either!
When you spend 1.5-2 hours labor installing plugs at $100+ @ hour you dont want to do that every 25-40K miles.

Thanks. Found one place that sells these original Bosch plugs for $5.47 with free shipping. 1.5-2 hrs labor for 16 plugs? Took me twice that long on a BMW 750 with just 12 plugs!

Sparkplug tip

The 100K mile plugs are great, "BUT" you should remove them every 40-60K and put some anti-seeze on them. Problem is with aluminum heads, if you leave them in that long, sometimes they will freeze in the head, and you don't even want to know how much thet costs to fix. Just a frendly tip, been there done that...
