Help, seized break rotor? 1982 380SEL
Help, My rear break over heated and I need to put a new rotor on a 1982 380SEL.....The rotor seems to be stuck or seized onto the axle drive.....Is there any kind of trick I can use to get it off? Is there a tool out there that will pry the rotor off the car? Should I bang it with a sledge hammer? Will doing that make it worse? I tried to use a tyrod separator to get it off......It seemed to rotate some, but now I am in a worse position cause the lug nut holes arent lined up....I cannot even put the wheel back on now.....
Need help. Thanks, Bart ![]() ![]() ![]() |
