PLEASE HELP,what is this??
Hey guys, just got done replacing my head gasket & replacing guides. It seems to run fine & seems to be a sucess,(thanks to your help)My only prob is there is some kind of pump or something that has a adjustable linkage that seems to only operate when you are in w.o.t. & connects to the throttle linkage. My prob is when I hook it up the idle goes way high.It seems like the adjustable linkage piece is too long all of a sudden.Im not sure if it is ok to just adjust it or not. Thanks,Frank

what year 300e? Is this thing beneath the intake manifold? That's the cruise control servo.
And the thing with the two hoses? Take a look at these pics. I shot them prioir to doing my valve seals and head gasket. On goes to a nipple under the throttle body. The other not so sure. ![]()
