W140 trunk lid adjustment question
The trunk lid seems to sit about 1/8 to 3/8 higher than it should. Is there a way to adjust the latch?

Last oil change on mine my mech adjusted the trunk latch (same problem) by removing the interior molding and repositioning the latch, takes a 10mm socket and 5 minutes.

Fuse 9
I don't think it's the latch. On my 140, the trunk lid would sit about 1/4 inch too high when the closing assist pump was malfunctioning. Removing fuse #9 for about 10 seconds and replacing would cure the problem for a few days. You'll probably need to replace the assist pump which is a common issue for these vehicles.
