Transmisson on my 91300SE is it shot??
Hi this is my first MB, a 91 300SE with 98k miles. I purchased it 3 months ago.
A few weeks ago, I noticed a clicking noise coming from the shift area while in reverse and moving. Today suddenly it took about 3 seconds to engage reverse, and within 15 minutes it would not engage fully at all. I can hear what sounds like a whistling noise when backing up???? I did change the fluid and filter last month. Can this be some sort of vacumn problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
