transmission fluid leak
Hello-
I recently replaced the auto. trans fluid and filter on my 1984 300 SD. It helped the downshifting problem I had been having and my car no longer clunks down into 1st speed. I neglected to drain the torque converter fluid (I found out about it too late - whoops ![]() Any ideas as to why this leak suddenly appeared a few weeks after I had done the fluid change and any suggestions as to how to resolve it? Thanks. Dan |

Remove the pan and check the gasket for any cracks, if it is install a new one and torque the bolts to 71in. lbs. Make sure to install/ center the gasket on the pan rail.
