205/55/16 vs 225/60/16

Which tire if any will better fit the W107 1983 SL.

I don't know the wheel/wheelwell size of the W107. However, just from looking at the sizes you listed, there's a problem. Typically if you increase the width of the tire (205 vs 225 in your example), you decrease the height ratio (55 vs 60) respectively. I'd have to look at a calculator, but basically to keep the same total height you'd drop to a 45 or 50 profile tire with the 225 width rather than increasing to 60.
