fan assembly/front end alignment

Someone to help me please, just bought a very nice 92 300e, really very nice, two problems, 1st , facing front of car, elec fanon right is not working, but one on left is, should i replace both or just the one, also, am going to yosemite
over 4th, would it be ok u think to drive that distance, normally when i am running a/c and car is moving, temp gauge stays under middle celcius "mark"
also, is there a "simple" way of replacing the fan on the right, purchasing my fan from the mercedesshop

second problem, car pulls to right, had mech at a firestone store with supposedly latest "Hunter" alignment machine, with all the fancy redlights and
such, but, this car still pulls, have had several people look under car, they
seem to think wasnt in accident, this car is too nice and beautiful , no blemishes, looks straight, looked under neath, no visible damage, so this
so called "ASE" certified tech told me, that car was at maximum adjustment
and could not adjust, I dont know enough to qualify it, i want to get this right this car is too beautiful i love it, and want to get this fixed soon,
I live in Hemet,California, i know it can be fixed, just finding the right person/shop etc

someone please please help me
Thank You
Todd

as far as the fan, i would definitely replace it. not worth risking overheating (and possibly damaging) engine.

as far as the pull, is it a pull or a drift? there is a difference. what did the alignment tech say? did they put everything to specs? if they did you could have a tire pull. check it by swapping the two front tires. if it then pulls the opposite way, you have a tire issue.

Good equipment doesn't mean good alignment. But, you should have a printout of the results, so post those here. Camber/caster should not only be within spec, but should match closely L to R. Swapping wheels front/back may solve your problem of pulling - for now. If alignment is the cause, though, the tires will re-wear until you're pulling again.

Check that the working fan spins freely, if not repace it as well. I had to replace one on mine, the other is still working.

This is a place where a mercedes dealership *OR* specialty shop has a real advantage.
There is a HUGE amount of range in a W124. If the car adjustments are not "Centered" as a starting point...

So, let me get this straight: They aligned your car, charged you $50 and when you complained that it wasn't right- your car is mysteriously been in an accident! Yes, it may need more than a tie-rod adjustment.

Secondly, there is a spreader bar which pre-loads the car for the alignment specs. Without the factory tool-he has adjusted your car WRONG. At speed, with the tie-rod connection behind the wheel axis- the wheels toe-out. When you get going down the road- the steering wheel input is from the rear, the rubber in the suspension gives and the wheels spread apart=)

That's probably the wondering feeling... the car is toe out at highway speeds!!!!!!!
