The capacitors in my clocks have been 100uF electrolytics. Any 100uF capacitor should work, although I would not go much below a 25 volt rating (insulation). The higher the voltage, the bigger and more expensive the capacitor. Modern caps tend to be smaller and I used 50v caps in mine.
