Sounds like your car is equiped with hydraulics. That would explain your desire for big rims.

Take it to the dealer and have them do an alignment and balance job. It's expensive, but I've never had another shop do it right.

Forget big rims, unless you are going for the high-schooler/wannabe rapper look.
