How the F*** do you get these caliper pins out?!

On my 83 300d, I can't get the caliper pins out. I see no cotter pins in them, but the picns just won't drive out. i'm wondering if I have to split the caliper to get them out (not something I want to do, I'm sure). Any suggestions?
