97 c230 power window occasional inop

Here's what happens. Every few days, the "auto-down" doesn'twork. Then it starts working again. I haven't isolated it to power-on/power-off dependency yet. What's the issue/fix?

I don't have the answer but it might be helpful to know which window and whether they all fail at the same time or the others work. Also is there any pattern? Hot days, morning etc.

Mike
