Need Trans rebuild info source

I seem to recall reading recently in a post about a manual (not sure if it was an online or offline source) someone used to guide them through a rebuild of their trans. Does anyone know of a good source for trans info specific to the 722.320 trans in my 86 300E?

Thanks,

Gary

Try this site:

http://atsg.biz/

There's also a good thread on tranny rebuilds here.

Good Luck

I found the ATSG manual to have some good info, but also a frustrating amount of typographical errors, references to figure #'s that are not present, misplaced pages, upside down pictures and absence of important info like what the range of modulating pressures should be. I wouldn't recommend purchasing it unless they have revised and improved it quite a bit.

Well, I just purchased it online last night, so I'll let you know if I see any glaring errors. I'm going to print it out at work today or tomorrow. If you can tell me any specific errors I can check for, I'd appreciate it.

I went to the discussion mentioned by pmizell and followed a link to http://www.transonline.com/ but they seem to be unavailable at this time. When I try to register it tells me that they aren't accepting any new registrations at this time. Anyone know any other sources of info for working on these transmissions?

Gary
