Gas savings...?
I went to the Costco in southern california-- where the high gas prices make even the rich old folks curse...

I'm a little bit . .
of a lead foot so my 'around-town' mileage is 15mpg.
On the road, the last time I checked, it was 19 - 20mpg. I'm also a lead foot there too. . . cruising @ 80mph |

Geez. I'm only getting 9 to 10 mpg around town. I admit that I have a heavy foot but I don't think I'm that bad. I've recently replaced the distributor caps and rotors but no improvment on mileage. O2 sensor test ok too. I wonder what the problem could be.
I have a 93 400E with only 80K on the clock. |

I have consistently gotten 20 mpg in the city over the last 125,000 miles I've put on my car; usually 24-25 mpg on the highway.
