Question rear brake pad sensors on a 91 300e?

am i right in asuming that i do not have rear brake pad sensors because i do not have asr?

Yes - MB did not put sensors on the rear. Not having ASR would have little or nothing to do with that. Pads wear irrespective of ASR.

It was likely more of a philosophical decision - fronts wear faster - tell 'um about the front.

I always thought it was shabby on MBs part not to have included them on the rear as well.

The 1991 & 92 300E's did have ASR option(winter package) & YES they did have a rear sensor! Also they did have a different part number for the rear pads!

so mine is supposed to have rear pad sensors?
