Yeah I posted later on in the tread that it was a automatic.

The engine going in is a used engine and since its not even my car, I am taking my time and won't forget to add oil. Going to have to top the trans off a tad too...

Its been raining solid for the past few days...yuck.

Engine is out...new (used) one ready to go in. Replaced the front seal on the tranny and all the usual tune up items.

Anyone have any advice other than bolt her up and bolt up the TQ converter?

Thanks!

Brandon

(BTW pulled the engine seperate from the tranny...easier)

Its done.

People bringing a car to my house running on the last fumes out of the fuel tank is not cool.

Tried to start car....no go...checked for fuel pressure...nothing. Its 3:30AM and I am out of gas.

A quick trip to the 24hr station and its all done.

No real tricks or tips to report...

good

work. yeah, not nice on the empty tank.

reminds me of the many times my kids somehow managed to get one of my cars into the driveway with so little left the car wouldnt restart. reminds me of the old old bill cosby record.

"you expect me to believe i ran out of gas starting the car?" (dad to kid)
