Thumbs up Rethreading Steering Knuckle

Dear Mike Tangas:
First, thanks so much for your tip. I was thinking in buy a die of 18mm X 1.0
and without remove the knuckle of the car rethread just the damaged thread at the end of the cone where a nut hold the bearings and hub together.
In my case this is thread that is damaged.
How left and right are defined; by the driver side as reference or looking the car from the front?. It many times bring confusion.
In my case the passenger side is the bad one.
