126 Front suspension
What causes front right side suspension noise in 126's? sounds like a bumping noise when it goes over minor pavement imperfections?

As I mentioned in the other thread, guide rod mounts. Try doing a search for "guide rod mount". There have been a number of posts about them, including several how to DIY them, some with pictures.
When the mount goes bad you will get a clunking sound coming from the footwell, or footwells if both sides are shot, when going over speed bumps or pot holes, might even happen when stopping in reverse. The guide rod is the support rod that comes off the lower control arm and runs back to the bearing bracket.

usally 3 things, one is the sway bar bushings ,usally the outter ones. Or the lower or upper ball joints. And third wich i think might be your winner is the caster adjusting rod ball joint. On the lower control are there is a rod that goes to the rear (caster adjusting rod) and where it mounts to the body it has a ball joint.Once the boot brakes water gets in and wears it out

I'm with guide rod mounts. Another way to tell is after a stop, when you first let off the brake, you can feel a little give as the mount moves.
I replaced mine last year. About a two hour job the first time, not too bad. Do a search.

Camber adjusting rod and guide rod are the same animal, just different names.

Thanks for your post. My 89 SE has similar noises. I am in process of finding the front end parts to go after the problem. You've given me a good place to start.
