Just as the odometer reached 65,000 miles, the ASR light came on in my '97 E420. Before I blindly go to the local dealer for advice, does anyone know whether this is a quick-fix or a more serious problem? Thanks

The codes in the system will have to be read. I have seen things as easy as a brake lamp switch fix it or things that are more like a throttle actuator.
