Steering wheel not right.

In my 73 450sl I noticed that the steering wheel is not directly in front of me (the driver). It seems to be tipped to the driver door. Is the steering coloum not straight? Any ides? Oh btw this is my first here. And the reading has been great. I hope I can help sometime.
