Exclamation 99 merc.slk230/kompressor/p0170problem

on cold starts runs rough sets code p0170 after a couple min it will stabilize then runs ok /?at times ac will afect the way it runs? not a/c comp problem alredy rulled out???help

The "Kompressor" engines from 1998-01 have PCV valves & UNDER hard acceleration they will pressurize the crankcase & push oil into the air intake area. THAT oil will damage the air mass sensor.

IF that is the case on your engine have the air mass sensor replaced AS well as the PCV valve & a special hose on the valve cover.

i checked for oil and cant find any in air meter?(or tube)
