Question Please help identify these MB grilles

Gentlemen (and ladies?),

I found these in my granddad's barn -- would you please identify what model of MB these grilles came from - or will possibly fit?

Thanks! -Mike

The one on the left looks a lot like the grille on my Mom's W108.

look at the

bottom area of the 500k. first look at the crank hole. then look at the bottom edge of the grill. there doesnt look to be any shell. it seems to disappear into the sheet metal.

the grill in the picture has a full wrapped bottom. it is designed to be attached to the hood like the later cars, i think.

damned nice looking 500k though.

Tom, the grille most seem to think is from a Ponton measures 25 1/4" high x 21 3/4" at it's widest point.

Thats a tough one. But I think the first one is for the W114/115 from 1968 to 1976. But the other one is older, W110/111/112 from 1959 to 1967 maybe, or maybe older

Neither belong to a 108. I'm thinking the left a 114 or 115, the right a Pontoon.
