My current back seat is heated and has the power recline
standard in the 88 560 SEL. The back seat I'm looking at is
from a 91 420 SEL that doesn't have heating or the power
recline.

I know I'd either have to give up the heated seat which is
fine, I'm in Texas and so it isn't essential. But I'm wondering
if this seat will work with my reclining frame shown below.

No, it won't work.

The rear fixed and electric seats do have different anchor points, different structure and different subframes. For that matter, all front electric and non-electric MB seats are not interchangeable either.

Even switching from a rear electric bench seat to rear individual bucket seats (separate option also available) would not work (for all the same reasons explained above).

To be more clear: the exchange could ultimately be done in your case, but it will require MAJOR work, time and expense to do so and at the end the seat may not operate properly.

I have both types of seats, the back of the seat in my opnion is the same, but the bottom of the adjustable seat screws in rather than snapping in.

Depending on how much you want to do, you coulod buy the 420 rear seat and swap the leather cover to your seat. Plus, with a little extra ambition you could sew your seat heaters to the un-heated 420 cover and retain the heated seat function. BTDT, but for the front seats in my case.
