need advice on new tires for 2002 c240
I need a new set of tires for 2002 c240. I would like to go to a larger tire,but not sure If I must stay with same tire size or can I go to 17 inch tire. I notice the newer models have larger rim and wider tires.

Stay With The Same Size Wheel It Is Design That Way The Speed Reading Will Be Slow If Larger Wheel Look At Tirerack.com For Tire Information

there is a wheel and tire forum here.
Your willing to buy new wheels, you can check with your dealer for the exact size wheel that will work for your car. realize if you go with a lower profile tire you'll lose some of the plush ride the C240 has.

I've ridden in a C320 with the bigger tires and wheels. It rides like crap. Even the owner was telling me she wasn't happy with the ride of the car. Said she felt every single bump in the road...

It can take a 17 inch wheel without problems. Obviously, the ride will be a little bit different.
