If you don't have the removal hooks, the easiest and safest way is to remove the left a/c vent ( next to drivers door ) and stick your hand in and pop out the cluster. If you get the removal hooks you need to be careful not to let them slip because the cluster can crack.

hey buddy don't do it yourself, it is not as easy as you might think. Some people have had good luck while most tend to cause crack on the lens. Take it to a dealer and pay the big bucks. A crack will cost you 300 bucks. I cracked mine and have not fix it yet. If you must take the risk of doing it yourself, then you will need the hooks as mention earlier. Use caution, it will not come out easily. there are three tabs that hold it in place one on top in the middle and two at the bottom. If you push the cluster in you will see the tabs. I suggest you place a shim where the tabs are and then use the hooks. Check other threads. there's plenty of info on this subject. Some clster will come out easy buy just prepare yourself for the costly replacement. Bigkid's advice will work if you have girly hands. very tight are and the plastic will cut you hand. good luck.
