What year diffs match????????

I found out yesterday that the axle flanges on the diff that I purchased from PotomacGerman do not match the one on my factory diff. It is from a '91 190e 2.6. Can anyone give me the year models that will match my car? Is there a chance they sent me the wrong diff? Thanks in advance.
