if you want to add xenons to a 202, you will need to get a body harness that runs from both headlights to both sensors. You do not need to worry about CAN.

but i need sensors
but i need to get some sensors ?
is that an easy job or do i need to change both axels ? |
You might have to modify the front control arms. There are probably brackets for the 2 front sensors (assuming I am right that there are 2 front) and also for the rear sensor. There will be a clamp required for the rear anti-sway bar. The sensors will need to be in a certain range to work with the control unit, there will be a little hit-or-miss in getting them set correctly. Then the headlights themselves will need to be initialized with the shop computer. Best bet is to find an MB kit for this, as there will also be a diagnostic link required to get the shop computer to communicate with the HRA control module. May be easier to just go aftermarket and have the Xenon bulbs only. HRA will be a headache but people have done it.

Gilly,
I think there is one sensor on the front of the 202 and one in rear. As Gilly stated, you DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE AXELS! You mount the sensors on the sway bars or control arms and body. I am not sure how the 202 is but on my 203, the rear sensor bracket is under the rear right spring so removal of the spring is necessary to install the bracket . |
looks good so far then :-)
Gone get the car up in the air and check...
does anybody know if i can go an buy a new wire set for it ? or do i have to get a "second hand" one ?? and same with sensors ??? |
I think MB sold a "kit" complete with the headlights, HRA module, harnesses, sensors, etc.
