can-bus

does anybody know if a w202 1997 C180 has can-bus ???

Hoping to install Xenon on my car, but want it leagel... and then it gone cost waaay to much without canbus

Not sure how this would affect installing Xenon lights. No I don't believe there is any CAN on a 97 202, everything should be hard wired, but I would think this would be an advantage, if any difference at all.

hmm

i was told that i need CAN and level sensors (or what u call it) on both fron and back axel to install xenon lights..

Isnt that correct ???

Actually it is Can-i-bus. Has to come from Canada for that model. I believe that will work. I would try if I had some. Will definitely make the lights very bright.

it's norwegian :-) made in germany...
and according to the "guys" with bit more experience than me, i need sensors on both front and bax axel and can-i-bus...

not sure where to get it, what it does or anything...
so i'm out fishing :-D
