How can I tell if the brake caliper of 1983 300SD is ATE or Bendix?

the ate has pins that are driven in and out with a drift. the bendix has pins that are held in with small hairpins.
i like the ate pins better. otherwise they seem to work the same. in my experience the ate outnumber the bendix by five to one. they provide the same performance and in my experience are completely interchangible. tom w

You can also see the Benidx logo on the outboard side of the caliper.
