Gary, confirm that the lug bolts you used for the 2006 wheels are the correct length by comparing the thread projection of the original lug bolts and the original wheels with the new combination of lug bolts and wheels. Obviously you'll have to do that with one of the new wheels off the car. If the new lug bolts are too long I recommend buying 20 replacements even if the front lug bolts don't have an interference problem so they all match. Different length lug bolts on the same car will only cause future problems. Be sure to buy lug bolts from a MB dealer. I've used aftermarket lug bolts with threads that were not cut precisely and had a slight interference fit.
